Ledenconcert Anne La Berge

Tongue and Chance Guild, a new venture by Anne La Berge and River Adomeit, convenes a fellowship of improvisers devoted to the arts of text, tale-telling, song, and poetry. Like a guild hall open to wandering makers, the project gathers artists from different traditions to exchange skills, test fortunes, and create in the moment. Through free improvisation across disciplines, each gathering becomes a meeting of voices, practices, and unexpected encounters.

Joined by guest performers yet to be announced, we will gather at Splendor for an afternoon of chance encounters, shared inventions, and collective making. In the spirit of a medieval guild, each participant arrives with their own craft, contributing to a living tapestry woven anew before the audience.

Splendor can only be the independent and free hub that it is, thanks to the members who support us. We pay them back with our specialty: music. Every year, all Splendor musicians play one concert that's free for this crucial group to whom Splendor owes its everyday existence.
